Hailing from Sydney, Anna Lunoe continuously breaks boundaries as a DJ, radio host, producer, vocalist and curator in the dance scene. Starting as a radio host on Australia’s FBi community radio, Anna quickly rose to prominence on the airwaves with her track selections and charismatic presence. She soon emerged as one of the best DJ’s amidst Australia’s bourgeoning dance scene. After dominating the festivals, airwaves and clubs of Australia, in 2012 Anna made the move to Los Angeles to continue to build her career.
She went on to establish herself as a mainstay on the USA live circuit while bouncing from one forward thinking club banger to the next, releasing music on Future Classic Fools Gold, Mad Decent, OWSLA, Ultra, and Spinnin' with powerful perfomances at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Electric Forest, HARD & EDC Las Vegas, where she was the first solo female act to play the main stage.
Amongst the many taking notice of Anna’s continuous climb and keen ear for the underground was Zane Lowe. It was for those reasons that he approached Anna to help launch Apple Music’s Beats1 platform. It was here that she debuted the HYPERHOUSE brand and radio show, her widest-reaching outlet to date for showcasing rising and established talent. Years later, Lunoe continues to thrive as the voice of all things dance for Apple Music as the host of the weekly danceXL radio show - one of the stations most in demand shows.
2017 began a new chapter in Anna’s life as she entered motherhood. She continued working though the pregnancy, headlining her own stage at Hard Summer’s 10yr anniversary at 8 months pregnant. After a 3 months hiatus Anna jumped straight back into the big leagues releasing collaborations with Dillon Francis, GTA, Born Dirty, Wax Motif and Valentino Khan.
2019 was a momentous year Anna for Anna professionally, perhaps her best yet. She released her widely popular Right Party EP, the lead track "Right Party" garnering full playlist support on Australia's Triple J,and the first single '303' becoming one of the most played club tracks in 2019 according to 1001 Tracklists. She dominated her summer festival world tour, from Coachella, to Tinderbox in Denmark, Fuji Rock in Japan, Good Vibes Malaysia, Digital Dreams Canada, CRSSD, HARD in So Cal and finished the year 8 months pregnant playing to 10K+ ravers at Audiotistic. Billboard named her in the Dance Power Players of 2019 amongst music industry heavyweights. Her record making EDC performance and jaw dropping pregnancy performances put her in the Billboard Top 100 EDM Moments of the Decade and Dancing Astronaut’s Top 25 EDM Moments of the Decade.
2020 started with the birth of her second child and as we head into 2021, Anna has a slew of new music up her sleeve, she continues her hosting duties on Apple Music 1's weekly show danceXL, and anxiously awaiting the return of live music so she can take back the stage get the dance floor moving once again. There is no one in the game quite like Anna Lunoe.
