Before purchasing a ticket and attending the festival we recommend you read the following important information:

Roam Festival is strictly an 18+ event, photo identification must be shown upon entry. Accepted forms of identification are; a driver’s license, keypass, passport or proof of age card.

Police may be present throughout the duration of the event and the surrounding area.

Strictly no BYO alcohol is permitted to enter the festival.

Please drink responsibly; intoxicated patrons will be refused service of alcohol.

Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Please be conscious of hot weather conditions and take the appropriate precautions.

Stay protected from the sun; sit in the shade and slip, slop, slap.

For any illness or injuries, please seek medical attention immediately at one our First Aid tents located in the festival site or camping grounds. Better to be safe than sorry.

Drive safely to and from the festival: plan ahead and designate a driver. Unsure of the legal blood alcohol levels? P plate drivers must be 0.00 and drivers on their full license must be on or under 0.05.

Do not drive while fatigued. Pull over for a power nap if necessary; it could save your life.

Always be aware of the speed limitations on the roads especially close to the event as the speed limits could change.

Keep an eye out for your friends and fellow festival goers.

Security, First Aid and Staff are always on hand if you need.

Please be mindful of noise restrictions and your nearby fellow campers.

Most of all, be respectful to everyone around you and look after each other.




The most direct route to ROAM is via car. We suggest you taking the following route; LINK If you are driving to ROAM Festival, we encourage carpooling.



There will be a TAXI / UBER drop-off point at the gates.


For those taking the Train, we advise all to get train from your location to Mandurah Train Station. From there we will be running Shuttle Buses every hour from 11:00am - 7:00pm on Friday 4th March. You will be required to pre-purchase a BUS SHUTTLE ticket in order to use this service.

Return Shuttle Buses will also be in service on Monday 7th March from 10:00am, These buses will return to Mandurah Bus Station.

Purchasing SHUTTLE BUS add-on is also required to use this service.

Box Office & Gate times will operate at the following times:

Food & Water for 3 days Any prohibited items found will be confiscated. Alcohol will be disposed of, illegal substances, weapons or items considered dangerous or offensive will be handed over to the police.

We are extremely excited to host you all for the inaugural ROAM Festival at Fairbridge Village. As our beautiful venue is heritage listed, which means an extra level of care is needed from each and everyone attending the festival.

By purchasing a ROAM Festival you accept this commitment to respect the land and everyone around you by keeping your area clean and leaving no trace on departure with everything you came with. This comes with a zero-tolerance policy, those who are seen to be disrespecting the grounds will be removed from the event.

Our lovely staff will assist in handing out garbage bags throughout the event, as well as having bags handy at the information desk.

It is important we are mindful of the environment throughout our time at Fairbrdige so we can ensure our event can stay for years to come!

We pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of the land, the Pindjarup people. We respect their continuing culture and the contribution to the life of this city and region.


We highly recommend that you carpool to ROAM Festival. Not only is this beneficial to the environment, it will also mean less wait to get into the festival.


Please ensure you sort your waste into the correct bags and place in the marked bins. This will ensure the festival site is kept clean throughout the event. You will find Waste & Recycling bins throughout the event and campsites. Our lovely staff will assist in handing out garbage bags throughout the event, as well as having bags handy at the information desk.

Think Before You Buy

‍Whilst ROAM-ing down the aisles doing your pre-festival shopping (all puns intended), please be mindful of the environment. Please avoid bringing items with unnecessary packaging, and look to purchase items that can be recycled.


This means you must leave your campsite or accommodation exactly as it was found. This includes all rubbish, tents and other camping equipment!

Please do not bring anything that will create unnecessary mess. Smokers, please bring something to dispose of your cigarettes in. No glass is permitted on site.

Enjoy ROAM, without trashing your site! There is a no-tolerance policy towards those who do not abide by this! You will be removed and banned from future events.


Be Safe

We want everyone to have an unforgettable time and ask that you act responsibly and stay safe and most of all look out for your mates and those around you.

Full emergency services are present at the festival. Please make a note of the displayed on-site medical and emergency services and use them if you or anyone needs any medical assistance. Everybody is welcome to the medical tent for any reason and you will not be in any trouble if you do.

Be Respectful

We have a ZERO tolerance policy for any patron who displays any antisocial, discriminatory, insulting, rude or mean behaviour of any kind towards fellow patrons. Anyone found to do so will be evicted immediately. ROAM is a safe place for all!

Be Drink Aware

Drink water in between alcohol and stay hydrated, we want you to remember your time with us.

Drug Aware

ROAM Festival team work closely with Drug Aware and emergency services to ensure all patrons are provided with a safe space whilst at the festival. We encourage you to visit our chill-out are during your stay if you ever need a place to relax or take a breather.


There will be a total fire ban throughout the site. If you discover a fire, tell your nearest member of security immediately! Fire extinguishers are located throughout the site.


For safety reasons, there will be security patrolling the site 24-hours a day throughout the event. If you need any assistance do not hesitate to make it known.


If you would like to swim there is a pool located on site. SWIMMING Lifeguards will be stationed there at all hours of operation to keep everyone safe. Swimming in the river is strictly forbidden – for your own safety.


From February 5th, 2022 you will be required to be double vaccinated in order to attend events over 1000+ person capacity.

You will be required to show your proof of vaccination record on the gate on entry.

Please ensure you have this ready & loaded into the SERVICE WA application before arriving on site.

There will be multiple toilet blocks and on-site flushable toilets throughout the site. Showers will also be located in the campgrounds.

Free drinking water will be available throughout the site and bottled water will be available at food stalls, general-store and bars around the site. General store will be stocked with extra food, drinks & ice + other goodies.


We will have a variety of delicious food trucks offering food for everyone, including vegetarians, vegans and the gluten intolerant.

Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including water will be available from the variety of food stalls and bars throughout the site.

Ice will be available from the general store each morning until gone.



Found: Please take any found items to the Info Point or hand to the bar.

Lost: If you misplace something please check with Information Points on the day as things will be turned in there, you can also report your lost item there. Alternatively, please email hello@roamfestival.com.au post event giving you name, phone number and detailed description of item and we will endeavour to get back to you within 7 business days.


We will have information hubs located within the campgrounds. If you have a question, need directions or have an emergency our friendly staff members will be happy to help!


Companion tickets are honoured with a valid Companion Card via direct request to ROAM Festival.

ROAM Festival is wheelchair accessible, however be advised that the event is on a grassed area and dirt areas and may be difficult to move around. Accessible toilet facilities will be available on site.

Strobe and flashing lighting is used at the event. If you think this will cause issues, we advise you reconsider attending the festival.

Don’t let a dead phone battery ruin your experience. We will have charging stations available at the event.

We all know how it is at events out in the bush, the reception could be a little hit & miss. Why not use this time to detox and get away from it all, it’s been a tough 18 months after all.


For safety reasons, there will be security patrolling the site 24-hours a day throughout the event. If you need any assistance do not hesitate to make it known.

General camping is free to all festival goers with your ticket purchase.

Powered Sites and Luxury Camping options are available as an additional purchase to your festival ticket.

Throughout the festival grounds you will find an abundance of shower and toilet facilities as well as plenty of food and beverage options.


There will be a section of the campsite that is powered. This can be purchased as an add-on to your ticket. Purchasing Powered camp site will allow you and your friends access to a campsite with a 240 volt, 10 amp power source.

You must bring all power boards and extension leads to power your phone chargers, lighting and other accessories. We recommend bringing your own power boards to plug into the 10A outlet.

When purchasing your powered campsite you will be allocated one standard campsite. These must be purchased prior to the event and will not be able to be purchased on-site and are limited! Please be mindful of power specifications and avoid running multiple items or equipment with high voltage requirements.

Powered campsites are an ADD-ON, Festival passes must be bought for each patron also.

Please note that Glamping does not include your festival ticket, all guests staying in the Luxury Camping area require a valid festival ticket.
