GENERAL

WILL PASSOUTS BE ALLOWED?

Passouts are allowed under the following conditions.

  • You may only return between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm each day
  • You will be subject to a search upon re-entry
  • If you appear to be intoxicated, carrying contraband or have a wristband that appears to be tampered with, you may be denied re-entry for the day or potentially event.

What time do the gates open and close?

& Gate times will operate at the following times:

Friday March 4th - 12pm - 10pmSaturday March 5th - 8am - 8pmSunday March 6th - 8am - 8pm

If you will be arriving outside of these times please contact us at hello@roamfestival.com.au and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

What happens if it rains on the day?

The event will go ahead rain, hail or snow, unless otherwise advised.


Can I bring my own food and water to the event?

Yes, please bring a suitable amount of food and water for the 3-days at ROAM!

The General store will stock various food, drinks & other supplies if you happen to run out. There will also be food vendors and multiple bars throughout the site.


Is the event 18+ only?

Yes. 18+ patrons must present valid photo I.D. in order to enter

Which forms of I.D. are accepted?

Accepted I.D. for 18+ patrons attending Feel Alive Again will be as follows:

1.         Australian photo Driver’s Licence or Learner’s Permit; or

2.         Passport; or

3.         KEYPASS Photo I.D. Card or WA Photo Card issued by WA Department of Transport.

Anyone who fails to present an Accepted I.D. upon entry will not be allowed entry into Roam Festival.

No refunds will be processed for anyone who is denied entry because they did not bring Accepted I.D.

All of the above must be valid and within date, original, and not copies or scanned versions.


My I.D. is expired, can I still gain entry?

We are unable to accept I.D. which is expired or invalid. If you have an issue with your I.D. please email hello@roamfestival.com.au at least 7 days prior to the event for further information. This will be up to security’s discretion on the gates.

What should I bring / not bring to the festival?

Do all people staying on the Powered Site need to arrive at the same time?

The person who has purchased the electric site must be the first to arrive.

We have purchased multiple powered sites, How do we get grouped together?

You will need to arrive together (and check-in together), to be placed next to each other.

What kind of cameras and recording devices can I bring with me?

No professional cameras (ie: cameras with detachable lenses) are permitted without formal media accreditation. Likewise no audio or film recording equipment can be brought into the Festival.

Where do I report any lost or found property?

Found: Please take any found items to the Info Point or hand to the bar.

Lost: If you misplace something please check with Information Points on

the day as things will be turned in there, you can also report your lost item there.

post event giving you name, phone number and detailed description of item and we will endeavour to get back to you within 7 business days.


Do you have a dress code?

As a general rule we don’t have a dress code, but you do have to wear shoes, we strongly advised enclosed footwear as it is a long & hot day.

CAN WE STAY OFF-SITE?

Yes, you can stay in off-site accommodation. Once you leave the site on any given day (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) you won’t be able to re-enter the site. Re-entry will only be permitted from 2:00pm - 5:00pm the next day (Saturday & Sunday)

COVID 19

Am I unable to attend due to Covid 19?

You must not attend the Event if:

• You are awaiting test results for COVID-19 or otherwise have reason to suspect that you have contracted COVID-19;

• You have been directed to isolate or quarantine by any relevant authorities;

• You have knowingly been in contact with a person who: has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last fourteen (14) days or has reason to believe they have contracted COVID-19;

• You have returned from international or interstate travel in the last fourteen (14) days;

• You have any cold or flu-like symptoms associated or linked with COVID-19.

If any of the above applies to you, you must inform the Organiser by emailing your name, email, mobile phone number, and ticket to hello@roamfestival.com.au by 11:59pm 3rd March, 2021 AWST and supplying evidence of your circumstances (ie: covid-19 test, medical certificate, quarantine order, flight boarding pass etc.) in order to be eligible to apply for a refund.


What Covid 19 Safety measures are you taking at the event?

We always take safety at our events seriously. After careful consideration and in consultation with our key stakeholders such as WA Police, Local Government and Health Authorities, the following measures will be implemented to promote the health and wellbeing of attendees and staff.

  • New policies and procedures:
    • Our event will be cash free, please do not bring cash
    • You will see our COVID 19 Marshals on site, please follow directions
    • Hand Hygiene & sanitising stations will be found throughout the site
    • Cleaning regime will include regular cleaning of communal areas and higher frequency  of high touch areas
    • Spacious queuing areas at key service points, such as the event entry and retail outlets.
    • There is plenty of space to socially distance
  • What’s expected of attendees:
    • Follow the directions of Covid Safety Marshalls,Event Security and Staff at all times
    • Practise good hand hygiene
    • Practise good respiratory hygiene
    • Be courteous to others
    • If unwell, report to Event Staff
    • Do not attend the event if
      • You are awaiting test results for COVID-19 or otherwise have reason to suspect that you have contracted COVID-19;
      • You have been directed to isolate or quarantine by any relevant authorities;

Will I need to be vaccinated?

From February 5th, 2022 you will be required to be double vaccinated in order to attend events over 1000+ person capacity.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY VACCINATION RECORD?

As per current government mandates, all attendees must be double vaccinated to attend. As this situation is ever changing, please check back here for updates closer to the event. You will need to present an Australian Government issued COVID-19 certificate proving I have received all required Covid-19 vaccinations as per WA State Government enforced requirements in order to attend.
TICKETS

Can I change the name on my ticket?

Due to strict COVID-19 regulations, all names must match the ticket-holders Identification on the day.

We do not offer the ability to process a ‘name change’. If you have arranged to sell or give your ticket privately to a friend, you can simply list the ticket for sale on Tixel and before the final confirmation (in step 4), select the 'private listing' option. You can then send the private ticket link to the new ticket holder.

If you have purchased a second-hand ticket from someone ‘offline’ (through Facebook, gumtree etc) you will be required to transfer the ticket using our official ticket resale partner, Tixel, so that we can guarantee the validity of the ticket and so the name on the ticket matches the ID of the ticket holder.

How do I sell my ticket?

Roam Festival will offer a Re-sale facility through Tixel  at our discretion once the event has sold out or closer to the event.

Once Tixel is activated, NO sales or purchases via unauthorised sites eg Gumtree, Viagogo, Ticketmaster & ticketek re-sale will be accepted due to the high level of counterfeit and inflated prices attached.

Tickets purchased via Tixel will incur a name-change fee, due to COVID-19 regulations it is essential all names must match the ticket-holders Identification on the day.

Every ticket sold via Tixel will be guaranteed to be real and ensures a safe transaction for both seller and purchaser.

Any tickets sold or purchased via third party ticket sites or by any other method than the official ticket site or resale site will be cancelled without refund and not gain access to the event.

Resale of tickets via any means other than the Official Resale Facility contravenes the terms and conditions of the event and may result in the ticket holder being denied entry to the festival.

Origin Fields reserve the right to open and close resale facility at any time. Any tickets not sold via resale when closed will be returned to customers account. Origin Fields is not liable for any unsold tickets.

Where do I find the set times & Day splits?

Set times will be made available closer to the event in March.

Day splits are available now on the website.

Ticket Add Ons

You can add all “Add-on” options eg. glamping, pre-pitched tent, powered sites & bus passes onto your ticket at any time.

What if my photo was taken at an event and it isn’t online or on Facebook?

As you can imagine we have thousands of photos from the event, unfortunately we can not put up all photos online.

Where can I see photos from the event?

A selection of the best photos are put up on our website / Facebook page. If you cannot locate your photo it could have been taken by external photographers.

Do I need an email address to buy tickets?

Yes. Due to COVID-19 regulations, we require all ticket holders to provide their name, email address and mobile phone number. You will receive an email with your tickets once your order is successfully paid in full.

Does my name need to be on the ticket?

Due to COVID-19 regulations, We require your full name to be printed on your ticket, matching your ID. Security will be checking this on the day.

We do not offer the option of simply processing a ‘name change’, this is a measure we have introduced to reduce ticket scalping and ensure ticket purchasers are not scammed when buying second-hand tickets.

If you have arranged to sell or give your ticket privately to a friend, you can simply list the ticket for sale on Tixel and before the final confirmation (in step 4), select the 'private listing' option. You can then send the private ticket link to the new ticket holder.

If you have purchased a second-hand ticket from someone ‘offline’ (through Facebook, gumtree etc) you will be required to transfer the ticket using our official ticket resale partner, Tixel, so that we can guarantee the validity of the ticket and so the name on the ticket matches the ID of the ticket holder.


My ticket never arrived so I couldn’t go to the event. Can I get a refund?

No. It’s your responsibility to resolve any ticket issues with us prior to the event. Please check your spam folder before contacting our Ticketing provider, if you are still not able to locate you must contact prior to the event. If you do not contact prior and try to claim a refund after the event, no refund will be provided.

It’s the day of the event and I can’t find my tickets!

If you are not able to find your tickets on event day please proceed to the front gate with your identification (Driver’s license, passport, proof of age card) and we will do our best to locate.

I am buying a ticket from an unauthorised outlet, can you validate it for me?

We will not tell you if a ticket is valid. Tickets to our event can be cancelled at any time up to and including the day/night of the event for a variety of reasons. Therefore we can never guarantee the validity of a ticket unless bought from an authorised outlet. In addition we do not support re-selling of our tickets. Many people have bought tickets from scalpers only to find when they arrived at the event, the tickets were fake, invalid or cancelled by the original purchaser. We strongly suggest you don’t risk it and only buy your tickets from authorised outlets which include FESTICKET & TIXEL

How can I get a refund?

Ticket sales are final, There are no refunds available.
If you can no longer attend for any reason you must sell via Tixel.

Tixel is the only safe place to sell your ticket!

Warning – Third Party Ticketing Sites

Only purchase tickets from Festicket or registered ticketing partner. If in doubt check the Roam Festival website.

We do not validate re-sold tickets purchased via sites such as Gumtree or Ebay or any third party re seller sites.

Re-sold tickets on sites such as Ticketmaster Resale, Viagogo & The Ticket Merchant can be fake, not valid or cancelled due to names not matching the customer using tickets.

There is no way to know if a ticket you are buying from sites like these is valid so would advise caution.

In addition, tickets are only valid if the name on the ticket matches your ID. Re-sale sites have no means of applying your name to our tickets.


Do you have Payment Plans?

By choosing to use the Roam Festival payment plan, you agree to pay all future instalments in accordance with the set payment dates.

If a payment fails, Festicket will automatically try to take payment two additional times before the order is marked as cancelled and any deposits forfeited. Should you wish to reinstate your failed payment pl;an orde,r contact Festicket Support who can reactivate your payment plan for you.(https://support.festicket.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003089292-Contact-Support)

Tickets will only be issued once your final instalment is successfully paid. You can view your order information by accessing your Festicket account using the email used to complete the purchase. Should you fail to make full payment for your payment plan, you will forfeit your right to tickets and any deposits paid.

Can we buy Second Hand Tickets?

If your ticket has not been purchased direct from Festicket or Tixel you are at risk of being denied entry as per ticket policy. Purchasing your ticket from a reseller does not guarantee an authentic ticket and you’ll be without recourse if you’re burned with fake / fraudulent tickets.

Does my name need to be on the ticket?

I can no longer attend, how do I resell my ticket?

If you can no longer attend this event you must use our official resale facility, Tixel. Once resale is open you will be able to safely resell your ticket. Tixel provides a safe marketplace allowing people to buy and sell tickets for this event hassle-free. More details will be released closer to the event as ticket resale is currently not open.

I've already sold my ticket to someone, what do I need to do?

If someone has purchased a second-hand ticket from you ‘offline’ (through Facebook or selling to a friend etc) you will be required to transfer the ticket using the Tixel facility as per the instructions below. Or alternatively, if you have purchased a ticket for a friend and the ticket is in your name, you will need to use these steps below in order to update the name.

Using Tixel, sell your ticket privately to your intended purchaser (the person whose details need to be on the ticket).

To do so, please login to Tixel and select the ‘Sell tickets’ option. Select the eventbrite logo and connect the same email address you used to purchase the tickets via eventbrite. Follow the prompts to upload your ticket/s, and before the final confirmation select the option ‘private listing’ to ensure your ticket/s is not released to the public for sale. You are then able to share this link to your intended purchaser, allowing you to transfer the ticket from one Eventbrite account to another.


Do I need to print my ticket?

We recommend bringing a printed copy of your Festicket e-ticket to be scanned at entry OR download your tickets to the Festicket on your phone. While most times your ticket can be scanned from your phone, there can sometimes be issues from screens. Be prepared and avoid disappointment.

Do you accept cash at the event?

Due to COVID 19 the event will be cashless, with EFTPOS facilities at all services counters.

Do you offer companion tickets?

Companion tickets are honoured with valid Companion Card via direct request to ROAM.

ROAM Festival is wheelchair accessible, however be advised that the event and campsites are on a grassed area and there are some gravel road so these may be difficult to move around. Accessible toilet facilities will be available on site.

Strobe and flashing lighting is used at the event. If you think this will cause issues, we advise you reconsider attending the festival.


Will there be Merchandise?

An official ROAM Festival merchandise range will be available.

Will you have phone charging stations?

Don’t let a dead phone battery ruin your experience. We will have charging stations available at the event.

Do you have a resale Facility?

Ticket Resale Facility – buying and selling second-hand tickets:

If you need to sell your ticket, we are teaming up with Tixel as our exclusive resale partner to ensure everyone is protected when buying and selling their tickets.

YOU MUST sell your ticket on Tixel to ensure the ticket is valid on the day. If you have already found a specific buyer, you can list your ticket privately through Tixel.

YOU MUST purchase it through Tixel to ensure your ticket is valid on the day. If you purchase a second-hand ticket in any other way other than Tixel, it will NOT BE VALID ON THE DAY.


Does my name need to be on my ticket?

We require all names on tickets, matching your ID. Security will be checking this on the day. If you purchase a ticket from someone else, they will need to go on Tixel and list their ticket privately and then you can purchase it from there. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO ENSURE YOUR TICKET IS VALID ON THE DAY.

CAMPING

How big tent can we bring?

Each campsite plot is 4m x 6m and can accommodate up to four people.
Please ensure your tent and other equipment fits within this space. This includes all wires & pegs to tether your tent, tarps, chairs and tables.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN USE ONE POWERED SITE?

Each Powered Campsite Pass is allocated one standard 4m x 6m campsite. One pass can be used by a maximum of 4 people. if you are traveling in a large group you will need to purchase multiple passes.

DO ALL 4 PEOPLE NEED TO ARRIVE AT THE SAME TIME?

The ticket holder of the powered campsite must be there to claim the site on arrival.

WE HAVE MULTIPLE POWERED CAMPSITES, HOW CAN WE BE NEXT TO FRIENDS?

You will need to arrive together (and check-in together), to be placed next to each other.

CAN I BRING MY CAMPERVAN?

Yes. However, all flammables must be removed prior to the event, these include gas bottles and generators. Please note that gas bottles and generators will be confiscated. Please also note that you are not guaranteed to camp near your friends in a campervan or caravan as you will be placed in the campervan campsite

A campervan is a self-contained vehicle which includes its own shower and toilet. This can be a Winnebago style vehicle, or a towable caravan. Those who would like to bring campervans into the site will need to purchase a campervan pass, your campervan campsite fee will provide your campervan access to 15A power.

Pop-up trailers tents, a Troopy with a mattress and Engel, or a kitted out hiace are not campervans, and are not permitted in the campervan campsite.

Campervans will not be permitted to leave until after 8:00am on Monday 7th March.

No BYO generators will be allowed, site power must be used.

WILL THERE BE A COST TO BRING CAMPERVAN?

Yes, campervan or caravan plots are an add-on which includes a single 15A power feed at $250 per plot.

WILL MY CAR BE ALLOWED NEXT TO MY TENT?

No Cars will be allowed in the campsite, on-site parking will be available. On-site parking is provided near the festival entry.

Volunteering

Is it possible to work or volunteer at the festival?

If you are interested in volunteering or working at ROAM, please fill out our Work. You must be 18+ to work or volunteer.
